On November 8, it was announced that Wang Dayong, the former general manager of Qingdao Dashang Electric – Kai Chuang Cold Chain, who left his position at the end of July this year, has been appointed as the chairman of Qingdao Kunpeng Refrigeration Technology Co., Ltd.
Wang Dayong joined Qingdao Dashang Electric – Kai Chuang Cold Chain in early 2017 and led the company to a top position in the industry. He was instrumental in developing a series of new products, technologies, and concepts, earning numerous honors and widespread acclaim, and is regarded in the industry as “the first person in the cold chain industry who understands both products and integrity.”
After leaving Qingdao Dashang Electric – Kai Chuang Cold Chain, Wang Dayong visited several domestic and international companies, large and small, to observe and exchange ideas. Ultimately, he was appointed as a core partner and general manager of Kunpeng Smart Cold Chain Group Co., Ltd. He will also serve as chairman of Qingdao Kunpeng Refrigeration Technology Co., Ltd., which is currently in negotiations for a Sino-New Zealand or Sino-American joint venture.
Kunpeng Smart Cold Chain has earned the reputation of being “a new star in China’s cold chain industry.” Previously, it focused quietly on foreign trade and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) sectors and is now committed to building a top-tier super factory in the industry. By the end of this year, it will complete and commence operations at a new 50,000 m² super factory, the largest in the cold chain industry with the latest 3.0 version, located in the Boxing Development Zone. Meanwhile, another 120,000 m² cold chain logistics and shared warehouse under Kunpeng Group is also under construction.
From being a senior executive in Sino-American joint ventures to leading private enterprises and co-founding a public company, Wang Dayong expressed his commitment to maintaining positive ideals amidst industry expectations and advancements in cold chain technology. He will continue to promote sincere and professional marketing methods, striving to be a global leader in cold chain solutions and to create “Huawei Kunpeng” in terms of technology and strength within the cold chain industry.
